A Diamond and A Mic II

Come out and join us for an evening of fun and entertainment intertwined with serious issues. Your monetary tax-deductible donations will help to fund A Diamond in the Ruff, in their efforts to open a larger facility, to expand and create more Programs and Services here in the Bay Area to overcome the Battle against, Homelessness, Domestic Violence, Sexual Exploitation and Mental Health. We Invite Community partners, Friends and Family out to an evening of Storytelling through Spoken word, Dance, Music and Food.

Your special evening will be filled with performing artist of dance, poetry, spoken-word, singing, along with a testemontial story, raffle prizes, vendors on display, food and more!! This year we will be featuring the Ladies from A Diamond in the Ruff modeling Sophisticated Fashion Trends & The Hottest Looks by Curvy Diva's ROCK - Monique's Clozet.

Special Guests

Mayor Libby Schaaf of Oakland, California. A lady who has shown strong leadership, demonstrates strength and has shown integrity throughout her political career. Libby Schaaf will be joining A Diamond in the Mic 2 to share her growing concerns behind the homeless crisis in Oakland and how it has impacted our women, children and our elderly.

Sherita Evans from KPOO RADIO STATION will be the evening Hostess of Ceremony.

K.D. Ashley, a well known Comedian from the Bay area, will bring laughs and job to lighten the night.

Yes, there will be Alcohol Served at two different on-site bars.



What is the schedule of events?


Doors open at 5:30 pm
Event Starts at 6:30 pm
Event Ends at 9:30 pm

I am unable to attend but want to buy ticket(s) to give away. Do you allow me to resell or gift my ticket(s)?

Yes, tickets are transferrable... the person attending should bring a copy of your ticket, registration fee receipt or confirmation email. We prefer to be contacted before the event with the information of the person your gifted your tickets to.



Is there an age limit to attend your event? May I bring my kids?
